Annual Oregon Lavender Photo Contest
Capture the Magic of Lavender in Rural Oregon.
We invite photographers to capture the allure of lavender bursting into color in the lavender fields throughout Oregon The many moods, colors and varieties of lavender, and the interesting backgrounds found at Oregon lavender destinations, provide intriguing subjects for the professional as well as the amateur photographer. Many of the lavender destinations are open to photographers during the lavender bloom season from mid-June through August. The deadline for submitting photos is August 1st each year.
Applicants are required to submit their photos electronically with their application. The photos will be reviewed by professionals for appropriateness, after which finalists will be notified. The Oregon Lavender Association may use digital copies of the photographs to promote lavender as an agri-business in Oregon.
$100 first place
$50 second place
$25 for third and fourth place
Some entries may appear in OLA publications including posters, maps, brochures, on our website and in other advertising materials which are circulated throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our advertising reach is extensive, with an average of 30,000 brochures printed yearly.
