RavenCroft at FaceBook

Nestled among the gentle hills south of Oregon City, RavenCroft cultivates lavender with an elegant, European sensibility.  A multitude of varieties provides us with an unusually long bloom season, often starting in May.  On-site distillation yields the varietal essential oils that are the core for our lavender fragrance offerings.  Beautiful meeting facilites allow us to host special events pertaining to herb and lavender culture and uses, including culinary applications. You will enjoy strolling through the blooming lavender, learning tips for growing these plants and other herbs, and picnicking with a fantastic view of the Willamette Valley.  Browse through the Raven’s Nest shop where you may sample our unique fragrance products, and shop for other lavender-themed items.

SPECIAL CLASSES: Private group sessions are suspended for 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions.

BLOOM SEASON NOTICE

Here’s what happened in 2019: bud-break for the earliest English-type lavender occurred early in June, opening the lavender season.  Unfortunately, Mother Nature is a bit fickle, and we must wait to see what she dishes out for spring-time weather before guessing when the 2020 season will launch.  We generally expect to be harvesting English-type lavenders in the latter half of June, followed by the French hybrids in early July.   To best appreciate our wide assortment of lavender and lavandin varieties, plan a June visit, before too many of the flowers have to find their way into the still.
