Seasonal Hours: Call for a visit.
Carol and Charles Tannenbaum manage their small lavender farm in the McKenzie River Valley about ten miles east of Springfield, Oregon. Located among the pastoral beauty of hazelnut orchards and pastures of grazing cattle or romping horses, the farm adds bright color and sweet aromas to the summer experience of the Valley. Carol had gardened for many years before they started the lavender venture in 2003. In 2011 we celebrated the opening of our Lavender Labyrinth. Join us for a meditative walk through our lavender field beside the beautiful McKenzie River. In 2013 “Let It Bee” our chainsaw art sculpture joined our farm.
Lavender varieties include Lavandula x intermedia cultivars: ‘Grosso’, ‘Abrialii’, and ‘Provence’ and Lavandula angustifolia cultivars: ‘Hidcote’ and ‘Royal Velvet’. The farm’s specialty lavender products include: ‘Grosso’ essential oil and hydrosol; handmade lavender soaps, lotion, lotion bar, body butter, and bath tea; organza sachets; dried floral bunches; colorful ribbon-woven wands; dried buds; and fresh bouquets in season.
The farm is open to visitors during the Lavender Farm Tour weekend and the Friday before and will offer u-cut lavender, lavender plants, and lavender lemonade and treats. Artisan vendors will be selling handcrafted skin care products, jewelry, basketry, wood bowls, garden art and planters. Food and beverages are available or bring a picnic. Relax by the river and enjoy live music to soothe your senses. Also open by appointment at (541) 736-8575 or firstname.lastname@example.org
At Eugene/Springfield from I-5, take Hwy 126 east to 40882 McKenzie Hwy (between milepost 15 & 16).
